Job description
This is a 14‑week (36 hours per week) nighttime nursing travel assignment as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical, Oncology, and Urology units at Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years recent RN bedside experience in an acute care medical/surgical setting
EPIC user experience
Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
RN license valid to work in the State of North Carolina (or as required by state)
Education: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN
Responsibilities
Assess and admit patients, monitor vital signs, and perform rounding checks
Administer medications and provide wound care as needed
Communicate with patients and family members regarding treatment plans and progress
Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care across all assigned units
Adhere to the nursing process and uphold professional standards of care, ethics, and documentation
