Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator/Charge for the Emergency Department.
The RN unit Coordinato r Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
Position Available
Full time, 36 hours per week
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Hours: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Education
RN-Bachelor's Degree or
RN-Master's Degree
Certification/Licensure
Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire
BLS within 90 days of hire
Experience
Experienced RN
18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
