Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU Per Diem | Hampton Roads, VA | Days & Nights Available
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
First Choice Nurses is actively seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities throughout the Hampton Roads area. Whether you want to pick up an occasional shift or build a fuller schedule, you choose when you work.

PCU RN Requirements
Active Virginia RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
As a PCU RN, you will
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders
Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized equipment required for PCU patients
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs
