nAlign Integrated Care PLLC is looking for a compassionate and driven Registered Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team in Sandston, VA. nResponsibilities:
nProvide peer support and mentorship to individuals in substance use or mental health recovery programs
nAssist clients in developing individualized recovery plans and setting personal goals
nConnect clients with community resources, support groups, and social services
nFacilitate recovery-oriented group sessions and one-on-one peer coaching meetings
nDocument client interactions, progress notes, and service activities in accordance with agency standards
nAdvocate for clients' needs within the care team and broader community
nModel recovery principles and promote a culture of hope, empowerment, and wellness
nRequirements:
nActive Virginia Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) certification required
nPersonal lived experience with substance use or mental health recovery
nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental approach
nFamiliarity with community resources, recovery support services, and harm reduction principles
nAbility to maintain professional boundaries while building authentic peer relationships
nBasic computer proficiency for documentation and electronic health records
nReliable transportation and ability to work in the Sandston, VA area
