Bi-weekly Hours: 72
Shift: Nights
***Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for experienced RRTs***

Join our Respiratory Therapy Team!
Patient Care Locations:
* MetroHealth Main Campus Medical Center - Glick Center
* MetroHealth Physical Rehab Institute
* Parma Medical Center
* Cleveland Heights Medical Center
Patient Populations:
* Emergency Departments
* Acute Care Inpatient Specialty Units
* Adult Intensive Care Units
* Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
* Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
* Labor and Delivery
* Postpartum Care
Primary skills utilized/learned:
* Invasive and Non-invasive ventilation management
* Evidence-based patient driven protocol pathways
* Critical thinking and time management
* Multi-disciplinary patient care management
Personnel RRT will work with:
* RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians

Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
* Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
* Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board
* Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification
* Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment.
* Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
* Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA
* Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
