Registered Respiratory Therapist jobs in Asheville, NC offer you the chance to make a real impact in a vibrant city known for its scenic Blue Ridge Mountain views, thriving arts scene, and outdoor recreation. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide care to patients requiring various types of respiratory support, including critical, emergency, and general therapy. Your responsibilities include performing and documenting patient assessments, monitoring breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure, and supporting organizational improvement by teaching and managing resources for patient care. You may also participate in infant transport and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.A typical day involves assessing patients, delivering respiratory treatments, and responding to emergencies as needed.You will work with a diverse patient population and may rotate through different shifts, including nights and weekends.To qualify, you should be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the appropriate state licensure and relevant clinical experience. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Required Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist, Adult Experience: 1 year Licenses: RT-NC(Copy needed) Certifications: RRT-National Board for Respiratory Care(Copy needed)
BLS-AHA(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
