nHow you’ll make an impact in this role
nnnLead the development of individualized pulmonary care plans by assessing patient diagnoses to determine the most effective treatment type and frequency.
n
nnOptimize patient outcomes by performing advanced respiratory care and vigilantly monitoring clinical conditions to ensure the highest standard of treatment.
n
nnEvaluate the effectiveness of respiratory practices and medication administration, proactively adjusting plans of care to ensure patients are reaching their recovery goals.
n
nnEmpower patients and their families by providing clear education on their health conditions and connecting them with vital community resources and support programs.
n
nnRespond with precision and expertise as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving interventions when they are needed most.
n
n nWhat minimum requirements you’ll need
nLicensure / Certification / Registration:
nnnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
n
nnRespiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
n
nnRespiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
n
nnAdvanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
n
nnCertification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
n
n nEducation:
nnHigh School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
