MLR is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team and contribute to improving patient lives through exceptional respiratory care. Respiratory Therapist Qualifications
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Valid state license for Respiratory Therapists.
Proficiency in operating respiratory care equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
Strong clinical skills with in-depth knowledge of respiratory care techniques and protocols.
Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' respiratory health by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans per physician orders and patient needs.
Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and adjust treatment plans based on results.
Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and home care practices.
Operate, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment to ensure functionality and hygiene.
Respiratory Therapist Role Summary
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to deliver comprehensive respiratory care and maximize patient outcomes.
