Job description
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5+ years of experience to provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory treatments within hospital and department guidelines.
Delivering direct patient care and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to standards and policies.
Applying advanced clinical expertise and troubleshooting respiratory issues.
Educating patients, families, and healthcare team members on treatments and procedures.
Participating in interdisciplinary communication and documentation.
Supporting specialized responsibilities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep labs as needed.
Ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications include an Associate degree from an accredited program, valid respiratory care practitioner licensure, BLS certification, and RRT credential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
