Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel | Urbana, IL (61801)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Urbana, IL (61801). 13-week hospital role starting July 19, 2026 - RRT required, ventilator and critical care experience a plus.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Location: On-site in Urbana, IL (61801)
Setting: Hospital - acute care / inpatient respiratory therapy
Shifts: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,480
Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist (W2)
Required Qualifications Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Minimum 1 year of hospital-based Respiratory Therapist experience
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, three times per week
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Current BLS certification preferred
Preferred Skills & Clinical Experience Ventilator management and mechanical ventilation experience
Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary assessment skills
Critical care or step-down unit experience helpful
Familiarity with respiratory equipment maintenance and safety
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality respiratory care and therapeutic interventions across the hospital
Assess patients, develop and implement respiratory care plans, and evaluate outcomes
Manage ventilators, perform suctioning, airway management, and emergency respiratory support
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document treatments, progress, and changes in patient status accurately in medical records
Ensure safe operation and routine maintenance of respiratory equipment
