Job description
Expand your clinical experience as a skilled Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role is designed for dedicated professionals passionate about delivering excellent patient-centered respiratory care. You'll work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team, serving patients with a variety of cardiopulmonary needs and utilizing advanced therapeutic interventions.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts may be available based on facility needs
Qualifications & Experience Sought: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Valid Respiratory Therapy license
Prior clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Knowledge of respiratory equipment and modern therapeutic procedures
BLS and ACLS certification preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
Key Responsibilities: Perform assessments and administer respiratory therapy treatments as ordered by physicians
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen equipment, and other respiratory devices
Deliver both emergency and routine therapies in acute and critical care settings
Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and document all interventions accurately
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, treatments, and equipment use
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
