Job description
Seeking a skilled professional to provide respiratory care services to patients as a Respiratory Therapist. This role is ideal for someone experienced in performing respiratory therapy procedures, passionate about patient care, and able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist, with current state licensure
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is strongly preferred
Proficient in performing assessments, administering treatments, and operating respiratory equipment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to respond promptly and effectively in fast-paced situations
Key Responsibilities: Delivering all aspects of respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including administering oxygen, breathing treatments, and other therapeutic interventions
Monitoring patient responses and adjusting therapies according to medical directives and patient needs
Assisting physicians and nurses with diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function testing
Educating patients and families on respiratory management and at-home care techniques
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in patient records
Ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times

$1,980 - $2,166/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
