Job description
Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to acute and critical care patients in a major teaching hospital. The therapist will perform assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, manage ventilators, administer respiratory therapies, and respond to emergencies such as rapid response and codes. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, documenting care in the EMR, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards, and participating in ongoing clinical education and quality improvement initiatives within RWJBarnabas Health.
