nMust be a RPSGT or RRT to qualify for this position and have NY licensure.
nPay: $40 to $55 an hour plus benefits.
nLocation: Poughkeepsie, NY.
nShift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM
nPosition Overview
nWe are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory (RRT) for a full-time night shift position at a sleep lab in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role involves providing sleep services primarily on weekends (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

nResponsibilities
n· Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
n· Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
n· Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
n· Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
n· Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
nJob Requirements
n· Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
n· Certification/Licenses:
no Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
no Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
n· Experience: Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting.
n· Physical Demands:
no Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.
no Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.
no Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
n· Other: Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required; must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).
nSchedule
n· Full-time, primarily weekends, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM
