Key Qualifications:
Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
Active licensure as required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional advanced certifications (such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP) are a plus
Experience with ventilator management, airway care, and administering therapeutic interventions
Strong decision-making abilities and adept at working in a multidisciplinary setting
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities: Assess, monitor, and manage patients with respiratory disorders in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff
Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy
Operate and maintain respiratory devices such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP machines, and pulse oximeters
Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and equipment usage
Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations
Accurately chart interventions and progress while adhering to facility and regulatory protocols
