Job description
Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, utilizing your clinical expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this contract position, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide respiratory therapy interventions, patient assessments, and education in support of excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Demonstrated experience in inpatient or acute care settings
Strong knowledge of current respiratory care techniques and equipment
Effective communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, including but not limited to oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation management, and airway management
Assess patient respiratory status and document findings
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for optimal patient treatment plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and at-home treatment when applicable
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each patient encounter
Ensure safe use and cleaning of respiratory therapy equipment
Participate in emergency response situations as part of the code team

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
