Job description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials. This contract role offers the chance to make an immediate impact within a dynamic clinical environment, supporting patients with a variety of respiratory care needs.
This position is scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026, and will conclude on December 15, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care, hospital, or clinical settings
Familiarity with ventilator management, respiratory assessments, and airway management techniques
Thorough understanding of pulmonary equipment, procedures, and safety protocols
Strong documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities: Deliver personalized care for patients requiring respiratory therapy interventions
Administer, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilators and other life support equipment
Perform diagnostic procedures, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy plans, equipment usage, and home care when applicable
Document patient progress and therapy response accurately and timely in the medical record
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

$1,883 - $1,986/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
