Job description

This contract position offers you the opportunity to utilize your training as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered Respiratory Therapist, making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Valid state licensure for practice
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Previous acute care or hospital respiratory therapy experience is highly valued
Proficiency in respiratory therapeutic modalities, ventilator management, and airway care
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to adapt in fast-paced and high-acuity clinical settings
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assess and treat patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
Operate, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilators and other respiratory therapy equipment
Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and other prescribed treatments
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other care providers to develop and implement effective care plans
Monitor patient progress and document results; promptly report changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on respiratory management and home care procedures as needed
Adhere to safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
