Conduct patient clinical evaluations, monitor treatment responses, adjust protocols in collaboration with attending physicians, and document clinical outcomes accurately.

Respond to emergency situations (code blue, rapid responses, trauma cases) and provide critical respiratory support across all age groups and clinical units.

Educate patients and family members regarding disease management, home therapy equipment, and preventative cardiopulmonary health.

Adhere strictly to departmental continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, hospital safety guidelines, and federal/state regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Licensure & Credentials: Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners (or immediate eligibility to obtain).

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Knowledge & Skills: Thorough understanding of general respiratory care processes, protocols, and standard/specialized cardiopulmonary equipment.

Knowledge of safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement standards.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and team-based clinical collaboration skills.

Benefits:

$20,000 Retention Bonus available for eligible external candidates.

Competitive base pay range commensurate with experience, plus applicable shift/weekend differentials.

Comprehensive Health & Insurance Coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.

Retirement Plan with employer matching options.

Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday allocations.

Relocation Support Options for qualified out-of-state clinicians.

Continuing Education Support to maintain licensure and advance specialized certifications.

Note on Compensation & Hiring Requirements: Final base salary, bonus payout schedules, and financial packages will be verified and determined by the organization based on your documented years of respiratory therapy experience and credentialing. All job offers are strictly contingent upon the successful completion of standard pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening, health/immunization verification, and full credentialing.

Note on Employment Status: The comprehensive benefits package and financial bonus incentives detailed above are explicitly offered for full-time positions. Eligible benefits may vary or be prorated for alternative employment arrangements.
