Job description
Respiratory Therapist
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required
Critical care experience including airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, code blue, rapid response, and inhaled medication administration
Assignment Details
Shift hours: and
Variable shifts. Traveler may work days or nights.
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
On call: Voluntary call only, 2 hours before shift start time and 2 hours after
Floating required to other trained units only
