Job description
Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
RRT certification
ACLS certification
NRP certification
PALS certification
More than 2 years of experience
Experience working in an adult ICU
Experience treating pediatric patients in the ER, including intubation and mechanical ventilation
Experience working in a level 1 nursery
Experience attending high-risk deliveries and high-risk c-sections as part of the resuscitation team
Experience working on Med Surg floors
Experience with Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high flow oxygen units, neopuff, and Ram cannula
Experience with EPIC documentation system
Assignment Details
Shift Hours:
Weekend requirement: 36 hours
Call requirement: No
Float requirement: RT floats to all areas of the hospital
