Job description
Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
ACLS required
PALS required
Minimum 2 years' experience
Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations
No first assignments
Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date
Assignment Details
Shift Hours: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Three 12-hour shifts weekly for 36 hours
Experience with continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
Experience with computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent
