Job description
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders
Minimum Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials
ACLS certification
PALS certification
NRP certification
Level 3 NICU skills
Acute care experience in Med Surg, ER, and ICU
Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators, and heated high flow units
Experience assisting with intubations and bedside bronchs
Proficient EMR charting
Assignment Details Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
36 hours per week
No call requirements
Weekend requirement: every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday
EMR: EPIC
Equipment includes PB vents, Drager V500, Aerogen devices, V60 Bipap, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet, Nitric, and Bubble CPAP
