Job description
Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer devices
Experience performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring
Experience with 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
Experience assisting with respiratory-related procedures including bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement
Experience with tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, and mechanical ventilation management
ACLS certification
