Job description
Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer devices
Experience performing oximetry and capnography monitoring
Experience performing 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
Experience performing pulmonary function studies
Experience assisting with respiratory care procedures including bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement
Experience performing tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes
Experience performing arterial puncture
ACLS certification
Experience performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes via free hand technique and/or video laryngoscope system
Experience operating, maintaining, and monitoring mechanical ventilation equipment
Assignment Details
36 hours per week
3x12 schedule
