Job description
Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
One year experience as an RRT
BLS certification
PALS certification
1+ year Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
Must be able to independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo U ventilator
Experience with heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP
Neonatal skills including Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation
Assignment Details
Shift Hours:
12-hour shifts
Documentation system: Epic
Equipment used includes Servo U and Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy
Required uniform color: Hunter Green
