MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant to join our growing Mobile MRI Team.As a member of our mobile team, you'll help bring high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region while supporting MRI operations at multiple healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with patient care experience, including performing venipuncture and starting IVs.What You'll Enjoy:Working in a dynamic, mobile healthcare environmentVariety in your day-to-day responsibilities and work locationsThe opportunity to support patient care across multiple communitiesCollaborative team environment10- and 12-hour shiftsMileage reimbursement and travel support when applicableResponsibilities:Screen patients prior to exam dayAssist the patient in completing paperworkObtain medical history from the patientEscort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the examEscort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam roomScreen the patient for the exam - mainly MRI and CT examsAssist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)Collate films and deliver to RadiologistMaintain linen inventoryAssist with quarterly imaging inventoryResearch availability and obtain reports and films requested by RadiologistServe as liaison between the Technologist and RadiologistOther duties as assignedQualifications:Education:High School Diploma or GED requiredPhlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or NHA), Registered Medical Assistant (AMT or ARMA), or ARRT registration in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) requiredCPR certification requiredPrior Experience:0-2 years of related healthcare experience preferredExperience performing venipuncture and/or starting IVs requiredExperience working directly with patients in a clinical setting preferredAbout MedQuest ImagingFounded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
