Registered Veterinary Technician - Medical Oncology

About the Job : The oncology veterinary technician is responsible for the general nursing care and treatment of animal patients. How you'll make a difference
Placement and maintenance of IV catheters
Calculate and administer both oral and injectable medications
Accuracy in calculating, delivering, and maintaining anesthetic agents, fluids, and CRIs
Safely position and take radiographs and obtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testing
Administer chemotherapy as directed, ensuring all protocols are followed and adhered to
Providing extensive client communication and education on various oncology disease processes
Maintain accurate treatment sheets

Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician
Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
Excellent communication and organizational skillsand the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts Salary : $26.00 - $30.00 / hour for veterinary technicians based on experience
