Job PostingTwo positions currently available:Registrar/Data Processor (Level 4) @ Oak Harbor High School Secretarial/Clerical/Level 4 pay begins at $34.50 per hourRegistrar/Data Processor - ALE (Level 3) @ Forest Vista Learning Center Secretarial/Clerical/Level 3 pay begins at $33.54 per hourMinimum QualificationsHigh school graduation or equivalentThree years of secretarial experience including records maintenance and dealing with the publicSchool district experience and computer knowledge requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of general secretarial proceduresKnowledge of available scholarships, college requirements, and associated applications and formsStrong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and usageKnowledge of computer operation and specific software programs for student managementAbility to use general office technology, operate general office machines and software programsAbility to organize, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision while remaining flexibleAbility to make spontaneous decisionsAbility to maintain accurate recordsAbility to attend to detail and follow tasks through to completionAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to interact with students in a warm and confident mannerAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, and the general publicAbility to follow district policies and proceduresDemonstrated ability to collaborate with staff and provide excellent customer serviceGeneral Functions: Registers and withdraws students from school and maintains information regarding transcripts and grade records. Responsibilities include providing information to students and parents concerning the registration process and performing a variety of secretarial duties.
