Job description
Role:
Providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a rehabilitation setting within a 9-bed unit that operates 24/7.
Responsibilities:
Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; collaborating with PT, OT, and Speech Therapy; developing individualized care plans; educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use; promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; and ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
Qualifications & Skills:
Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; RN license essential; preferred candidate has a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of experience. Ability to work safely and with alertness is critical.
Additional Details:
Focus on patient-centered care, addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs; participating in professional development; and maintaining compliance with standards of nursing care.
