Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility located in Monterey County, CA. The COTA will collaborate with a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care aimed at enhancing functional independence.
Duties
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for both short-term and long-term residents.
Communicate effectively with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team members.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards.
Complete documentation in Net Health according to facility standards.
Requirements Active OTA License required.
Experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred; mentorship is available for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.
Strong documentation and time-management skills.
Flexible and collaborative mindset.
Shift Information
Flexible schedule options are available: either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. Holiday coverage is required.
Minimum Years of Experience
Less than 1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.
Certifications / Requirements BLS/BCLS certification is required.
