Travel Occupational Therapist Job in Walla Walla, Washington | Acute Care Rehab Assignment

Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,050
Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Inpatient Rehab
Location: Walla Walla, Washington 99362
Start Date: 10/19/2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours Per Week: 40
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends, approximately every 3-4 weeks
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Charting System: Epic preferred
Work Environment: Float across acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab areas as needed
Job Requirements At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required
Acute care Occupational Therapy experience required
Washington OT license required and must be in hand at time of submission
Strong collaboration, time management, and independent working skills
Epic experience preferred
Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple units within the hospital
Inpatient rehab experience is a plus
Comfortable treating a broad range of diagnoses, including multi-trauma, stroke, SCI, orthopedic, surgical, Parkinson's, and MS
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients across acute care, ICU, medical, surgery, and inpatient rehab settings
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Support patients with acute and chronic conditions through skilled therapeutic interventions
Provide functional assessments and assist with discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt to changing patient needs and maintain productivity standards
Float between units and provide care where needed to support hospital-wide patient flow
Deliver compassionate care while helping patients improve mobility, function, and independence
