Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location
Wichita, KS
Unit Information
Unit Type: Occupational Therapy
Daily Census: Approximately 250 active consults per day
Staffing: Headcount of 30, with 17.29 FTEs
Patient Ratio: Typically 8-10 patients assigned per Occupational Therapist per day
Equipment: General acute care durable medical equipment
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Qualifications
Required Skills Minimum of 6 months of hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
Current BLS certification
Active licensure in Kansas
Preferred Skills Experience with trauma patients
Experience with comprehensive stroke patients
Responsibilities Conducting Occupational Therapy evaluations
Providing Occupational Therapy treatments to patients
Personal Attributes Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and demonstrate high accountability
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Flexibility in an acute care environment
