Physical Therapist
Position Description
This is a contract position for Physical Therapy, with a duration of 13 weeks. The position requires a Texas License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Pediatric experience is preferred, however, not mandatory.

Days/Weekends: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No On-Call Requirements
General Information About the Unit Number of Beds: Covers rehab; if volume is down, will include acute and outpatient care.
Number of Staff: 2 full-time PTs & 2 PTAs on day shift.
Patient Ratios:
5-6 patient care hours in rehab
12-15 patients in acute care
6-7 patients in outpatient care

Qualifications Must Have:
Texas State License in Physical Therapy
Inpatient Rehab Experience
Preferred:
Bilingual candidates are preferred due to a predominately Hispanic population.
Responsibilities Conduct PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for inpatient rehab.
Participate in team conferences, provide family training, and conduct home assessments as needed.
