Job description
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing support to a diverse patient population ranging from high school students to the elderly.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Deliver manual therapy techniques focusing on outpatient rehabilitation.
Assist in post-surgical rehabilitation programs and implement treatment plans.
Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Track and document patient progress using the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Adapt to fluctuating patient care needs between swing bed and outpatient services.
Qualifications
Current PTA licensure and relevant certifications.
Experience with manual therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation preferred.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of age groups.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Schedule
This position requires availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
