Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in the greater Sacramento county area. This role involves providing vital assistance in the treatment of patients within a Home Health setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
Manage a caseload of 5-6 patients per day, ensuring high-quality care and effective treatment plans.
Collaborate with rehabilitative teams to enhance patient recovery and wellbeing.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
New graduates are encouraged to apply, but candidates with less than 6 months of experience will be considered only in exceptional circumstances.
Work Environment
This position is based in the Home Health sector, covering the greater Sacramento area. You will have the opportunity to work independently while making impactful contributions to patient care.
Additional Information Mileage will be reimbursed at the GSA rate with prior approval.
Guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week.
