Job description
Registered Nurse – Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine
Schedule
36 hours per week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts; holidays and weekends as per unit policy.
Assignment Details
Contract length: 36 or 48 hours per week.
Requirements
2 years of Med Surg experience
NYS RN license
AHA BLS certification required
Telemetry experience required
Recent pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and families.
Assist patients in regaining independence after complex medical conditions.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for a variety of patient needs including Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
