Overview
Great for Rehab students!
The Rehab Tech supports the delivery of rehabilitative care under direct supervision by clinicians and site leadership. Performs tasks related to cleaning and monitoring of equipment and supplies, assisting with patient care delegated by clinicians, cleaning and organization within the department areas, clerical support and patient flow/transport.
Responsibilities
Necessary Skills:
1. Good communication skills including verbal and non verbal
2. Ability to work effectively with patients at all levels of ability/disability
Qualifications
Required Education
GED or High School Diploma. Allied health coursework desirable.
Required Licensure/Certifications Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
Required Experience Less than one year
Preferred Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
