Provision of Care/Services:Appropriately prioritizes daily activities with consideration of individual and departmental needsDemonstrates competence on departmental skills checklistsTakes direction and completes tasks in a timely mannerAssists therapist with patient care as needed to ensure safe treatments are providedPrepares and sets up modalities as appropriatePrepares dressing supplies accurately and with appropriate sterile technique2. Communication/Interpersonal:Maintains ongoing and effective collaboration between front office and other therapy staffFacilitates internal and external communication by participating in collaborative relationships with other health practitioners and the public at largeProvides Supervisor/Manager with ongoing feedback of patient and/or departmental concerns3. Maintains Safe Work Environment:Maintains a clean work environment free of clutter and hazardsPerforms assigned duties on aide responsibilities checklists in a timely mannerCompletes checklists and logs and stores them in the designated areaEnters maintenance requests through computer and tracks responsivenessSanitizes/disinfects soiled items promptly and according to procedureChanges linen between patientsNotifies supervisor of potential issues/problems4. Maintains Equipment and Supplies:Assists with modifying inventory lists as neededNotifies supervisor of potential issues/problems related to equipment, performs inventory in an accurate and timely mannerMaintains a full stock of supplies in assigned areaEnsures that all items in storage rooms meet JC requirements (18" rule and nothing on floor)Discontinues the use of broken equipment and informs supervisor/tags broken equipment according to hospital procedures5. Fiscal Responsibilities - Behaviors demonstrate a positive commitment to departmental fiscal accountabilities and goals6. Department Participation:Takes responsibility for content presented at all staff meetings and applies information to daily activities as directedParticipates in appropriate educational programs offered by the organizationWhen appropriate and approved by supervisor attends educational programs offered outside of the organization7.
