nPreferred Qualifications
nExperience working in a rehabilitation environment or education related to a rehabilitation career path preferred.
nCurrent CPR certification from an AHA-approved course provider
nJob Description:
nAssists licensed physical and occupational therapist, physical, occupational therapy assistants, and students in all aspects of treatment in order to maximize each patient's functional ability.
nJOB DUTIES
nnnTransfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner
n
nnWhile under direct supervision of the treating therapist, the rehabilitation aide will assist with direct patient care relative to patient's age, culture, and condition
n
nnCommunicates verbally and in written form with therapists, assistants, students, customers, volunteers and other aides to maintain efficient workflow.
n
nnMaintains linen, disinfects equipment, sterilizes equipment, and tracks reusable supplies.
n
nnMaintains clean working environment.
n
nnReceives, distributes, and restocks supplies.
n
nnPerforms related duties as required.
n
nnFiles, answers and makes telephone calls, performs departmental copying.
