Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Supportive Therapy Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses regain mobility and independence. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic exercises and gait training, monitoring patient response, documenting progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You’ll support patient and family education, maintain equipment and safety standards, and contribute to a mission-driven, patient-centered care environment with opportunities for growth and learning.
