nJob Description
nPrepares patients for treatment. Assists Therapists in their treatment of patients. Maintains Therapy Department in a neat and orderly fashion.
nJob Responsibility
nnnPrepares patients for treatment by therapist; assists therapists during therapy.
n
nnTransports patients, independently, to and from department using stretcher or wheelchair.
n
nnMaintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
n
nnAssists professional staff in ordering supplies; orders linens and maintains linen closet in a neat and orderly condition.
n
nnPlaces patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers.
n
nnAssembles and places equipment and supplies for use.
n
nnPerforms a variety of duties essential to the function of the department such as taking messages, entering and retrieving basic information into/from computer, performing messenger duties, etc.
n
nnTransports equipment and supplies.
n
nnAssists in workshops, as required.
n
nnPerforms related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

n nJob Qualification
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.

nn0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
