nSaint Francis Hospital and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our mission-driven Inpatient Acute Care Rehab Team.
nThe Rehab Tech assists the therapists with direct patient care activities utilizing rehabilitation techniques and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team.
nYou Will Be Responsible For:
nnnPrepares and assist in routine treatment in the acute care setting
n
nncleaning a patient and assisting with ADL's
n
nnAssisting therapist with manipulating critical lines, tubes and drains for patients
n
nnPerforms ongoing inventory of equipment and materials to ensure adequate supply
n
nnGeneral clerical and front desk support
n
nnCommunicates with ancillary departments, clients, and family members to ensure customer satisfaction.
n
n nMinimum Requirements:
nnnEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminology
n
nnPrior healthcare or patient service preferred.
n
nnStrong communication skills, verbal and written.
n
nnExcellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrated simple math skills.
