Job description

Rehabilitation Therapist / PT

Imagine making a daily impact on the lives of individuals as they embark on their journey to recovery—what if your expertise could help someone take their first step following surgery, regain autonomy after a stroke, or discover their voice once more after an illness? As a Rehabilitation Therapist / PT, you're not merely facilitating healing; you're inspiring resilience, vitality, and hope during some of life's most delicate moments. And what's even more exciting is the opportunity to do this in a dynamic and sunny locale that blends professional ambition with delightful leisure. We are on the lookout for an empathetic and proficient Rehabilitation Therapist / PT to come aboard our exceptional team in Tampa, Florida. This vibrant city is infused with a welcoming atmosphere where clinical excellence intertwines with a lifestyle that radiates joy and energy. If you're eager to create a lasting impact and become a part of a nurturing community, you've found your next adventure. In this role, your days will involve evaluating patients in various settings—whether inpatient or outpatient—and crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to facilitate their recovery. You will be executing physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, building strength, refining balance, and restoring overall function. Collaboration will be key, as you'll join forces with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab experts to optimize patient outcomes. Educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercises will also form a key part of your responsibilities. You'll meticulously document evaluations and progress in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory guidelines, while actively participating in interdisciplinary care rounds to ensure that our patients receive integrated and coordinated care. To qualify for this inspiring opportunity, you'll need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Holding a state license as a Rehabilitation Therapist / PT is essential, as is CPR certification, which is preferred. Specialized certifications—whether in neurological or geriatric care—are certainly a plus but aren't prerequisites. Previous clinical experience is highly desired, as you'll be treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. You will need to communicate effectively and work well within a team setting while being comfortable utilizing digital charting and clinical documentation systems. In exchange for your dedication and expertise, we offer a competitive compensation package alongside comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance. Continuing education opportunities and licensure reimbursement affirm our commitment to your professional growth, in addition to generous paid time off and flexible scheduling options. You'll thrive in a supportive team culture, with ample avenues for clinical advancement. Every day in this role is unique, and each interaction is deeply meaningful. Whether you're assisting patients in reclaiming their balance after surgery or guiding someone through the strenuous yet rewarding steps of post-stroke rehabilitation, your contributions will resonate significantly. This is not just about physical recovery; it's about nurturing the spirit and restoring hope through hands-on, compassionate care. You'll evaluate the needs of your patients, implement targeted treatment plans, and fine-tune your strategies as their situations evolve. As a vital part of a collaborative care team, you'll play an essential role in discharge planning and facilitating safe transitions back to home. We seek someone who doesn't just possess clinical expertise but also embodies emotional intelligence and resilience. You recognize that movement truly is medicine and that every patient's progress—no matter how small—is a triumph worth celebrating. In this role, you'll find not just a job but a calling—where your knowledge aligns with purpose, and every day your presence will undeniably change lives for the better. As a Rehabilitation Therapist / PT in Tampa, Florida, you'll immerse yourself in a culture thriving with professional passion, a lively atmosphere, and a city that invigorates each day you wake up to. We're enthusiastic about helping you elevate your career, broaden your skill set, and rediscover the joy of impactful work. Become a part of a team—and a community—that is committed to uplifting one another as we move forward together.
