We strive to positively impact the financial well-being of our community, one member at a time.What You Bring to the Table:Minimum 6 months of financial institution, banking, or credit union operations experience supporting customers in person or over the phone.Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service required, and 6 months of cash-handling preferred.High school diploma or GED required.Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills and proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment.Passion for providing outstanding customer service and a positive attitude.Effective time management skills include prioritizing multiple responsibilities and organizing work tasks.Experience in controlling negotiable instruments.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.Flexibility to work branch hours, including Saturdays.Your Role:The Relationship Banker serves as the welcoming face of Velocity Credit Union and plays a critical role in building member trust and engagement. This position blends traditional teller responsibilities with foundational banker skills, focusing on creating exceptional experiences through meaningful interactions and personalized service.
