Job description
Overview
Reliability Engineer II role located in Tucson, AZ. Onsite position requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. RTX is a leading aerospace and defense company with a strong focus on safety, reliability and life cycle engineering.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development, production and sustainment.
Collaborate with an engineering team of varying experience and sub-disciplines.
Conduct analyses related to Reliability, Maintainability and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS).
Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, Reliability Predictions and Derating.
Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.
Qualifications
Typically requires a University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Predictions, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Derating, FRACAS or related activities.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Customer focus, collaboration skills, and strong written/oral communication.
Proficiency with MS Office tools and preparation/presentation of briefing materials.
Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with standards, with the ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions and drive closure.

Clearance Information
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services handles the clearance process.
Location: Tucson, AZ. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. This is a U.S.-based role; pay structure applies accordingly.
