Job description
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support mechanical reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement for a leading manufacturing operation in the greater New Orleans, LA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and improve the plant's Preventive Maintenance (PM) and mechanical reliability programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and develop corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
Analyze reliability and equipment data to identify trends, improve performance, and support asset reliability strategies.
Develop engineering solutions for recurring equipment and operational issues impacting safety, quality, cost, and production.
Support Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance, equipment specifications, repair procedures, and maintenance training involving piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, and related equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Experience with reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and asset management.
API 510, 570, or 653 certification preferred.
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
U.S. citizen or green card holder.
