nThis position must practice the profession of pharmacy in an environment that by philosophy and policy, promote patient care and education. This person must be patient directed, clinically oriented, and have a vision to take Meijer Pharmacy to the next level of patient care.
nWhat You'll be Doing:
nnnFill prescriptions safely and accurately.
n
nnMaintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
n
nnHold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
n
nnEducate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
n
nnMotivate team members to perform to their highest level.
n
nnCompetent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
n
nnEffective communication skills and agent of change.
n
nnExcellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
n
nnListen to the patient and resolve patient’s needs, customer service.
n
nnIn the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
n
nnPerform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services including immunizations.
n

n nWhat You Bring with You (Qualifications):
nnnBachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
n
nnRegistered and licensed in the state of practice.
n
nnCertified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
n
nnCPR certification.
n
nnRetail/Community Practice.
n
