Relief Emergency Veterinarian | Norfolk County, Massachusetts
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, full-service GP/specialty/emergency hospital in Norfolk County that is looking for a dependable Emergency Relief Veterinarian to join their team on a relief basis. This 24/7 hospital has been serving the South Shore of Boston area for decades and offers a genuinely well-equipped environment for advanced emergency and critical care medicine. The hospital sees a unique caseload of dogs and cats and is looking for a skilled emergency vet who can slot into a busy, established ER team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to practice advanced emergency medicine within a modern, full-service facility, working alongside a cohesive and experienced team rather than in an under-resourced setting. You will have access to a spacious treatment area, multiple surgical suites, and specialized isolation and exotic wards, along with strong diagnostic and critical care support. The role will involve a varied emergency and critical care caseload, supported by an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. The hospital's ICU offers oxygen and temperature support, long-term ventilation, continuous fluids and infused medication, and advanced patient monitoring, giving you the tools to manage complex and critical cases confidently.
