, we help our customers succeed by delivering industry-leading products, services, and support. What You’ll Do as an Industrial Account Manager
In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing and managing a diverse customer base, developing long-term relationships, and driving business development across multiple accounts.
Conduct a
high volume
of cold calls to prospective customers to generate leads and build the sales pipeline
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
at all organizational levels
Identify and
pursue new business opportunities
to expand account packages
Collaborate with colleagues
across multiple sales offices to support your accounts
Provide solutions that deliver
win/win outcomes
for customers and Kirby Risk
Represent Kirby Risk with professionalism in every customer and vendor interaction
3–5 years of successful sales experience ( industry experience in Electrical Supply is a plus )
~ Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships in a competitive territory
~ Skilled at building relationships at all organizational levels within manufacturing facilities
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
~ Territory supported by multiple Kirby Risk sales offices
Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers (daily, with some overnight as needed)
Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for customer or vendor events
